Former Cameroon Player Rigobert Song Suffers Stroke


Former Cameroon footballer Rigobert Song is in hospital after reportedly suffering a stroke, the Press Association is reporting.


Song, who played for Liverpool and West Ham, and a coach employed by Cameroon's national football federation, was taken to hospital in Yaounde, Cameroon.

A member of Song's family told the media in Cameroon that he was unconscious.

Former team-mates of his have been sending their best wishes via twitter. He will later be flown to France this evening.
